Toronto, ON — November 12, 2020 — Since our inception, Bather has always acknowledged its Toronto roots. As a made-in-Canada brand, it is part of our mission to support our local communities. We are excited to announce that starting today, for the sale of every Bather beanie, we will donate a beanie to Covenant House Toronto and help youth experiencing homelessness.
Our office is located just south of Trinity Bellwoods Park. If you have walked by any park in Toronto in the last six months, you would have witnessed the increase of people struggling with homelessness as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the recent introduction of new colder weather products into our collection, we have an opportunity to help out by donating items essential for the winter months.
Covenant House helps youth ignite their potential and reclaim their lives. As Canada’s largest agency serving youth who are homeless, trafficked or at risk, they offer the widest range of 24-7 services to more than 300 young people each day.
We are forever grateful for your support with this initiative. If even one person stays warm this winter because of this, we have succeeded.
