Swim Trunks vs. Surf Trunks : A Guide to Finding Your Perfect Fit

We figured that not everyone will know the difference between our surf trunks and swim trunks, so we created this guide to highlight the key differences between the two so you can choose the style that's right for you! 

The Swim Trunk

Bather swim trunks feature an elasticized waist, side pockets, and a super soft stretch mesh lining. They also have a pocket on the back with a snap enclosure. The sizes range from XS to XL. 

The easiest way to know your exact size is to grab your favourite jeans, lay them flat and measure from hip-to-hip. Find your respective size in the chart below.

The Surf Trunk

Unlike the swim trunks, Bather's surf trunks do not have an elasticized waist, side pockets, nor a mesh lining. Instead of an elasticized waist, our surf trunks have a drawstring waist with a velcro fly. The sizes for the surf trunks are 28, 30, 32, 34, and 36. These sizes represent the waistline in inches, however they do fit a half-size big. The best way to determine your size will be to look at the size of a pair of pants or jeans that fit you well. If you typically wear a size 33, we recommend a 32 for a more comfortable fit.
